The Lufran® Soltan™ Series, Inline Solvent Heater has been designed to deliver years of trouble-free, low maintenance operation. The Soltan accommodates any temperature setting up to 100°C (100 PSI).  It can be used for the safe heating of NMP, EKC 265, EKC 830, ACT 690, ACT 970 and other solvents in a single pass or recirculating application.

Standard Features

  • Description: The Lufran® Soltan™ is an electric stainless steel in line heater designed with chemically milled stainless steel wetted surfaces.
  • Design Criteria:
    a) Over a broad range of flow rates, the Soltan™ can raise the temperature of NMP from ambient to 100ºC at 100 psig with low watt density heaters.
    b) 1/2" stainless connections are standard. Variety of fittings available.
    c) J-type Process and Heater thermocouples. Included are two bi-metallic over-temperature sensors, one for the heater, one for the fluid.
    d) Mounts vertically with supplied brackets.
    e) Welded construction assures leak proof operation.
    f) Flexible enough to accept higher kW requirements.
  • Performance: This heater is constructed for Class I & II Group B, C, D, E, F & G guidelines and had been hydrostatically pressure tested to 200 PSIG.
